SEALED BEAM TO EURO H4 HEADLIGHT CONVERSION KIT FOR US T1 / TYPE 2

Sealed beam to Euro H4 headlight insert conversion kit for US spec T1 bus also known as the split screen van / Type 2 bus. This kit is for LHD cars. This is only for the US spec cars that are all equipped with the “sealed beam” headlights- please see the pictures. Will NOT fit Euro headlights. The kit includes left and right side headlight inserts (with E approval); 12V H4 bulbs (Hella); city light bulb holders and bulbs (Hella); 2 rubber sealing caps. These lights will provide approx two times better lighting performance and whiter color light compared to the DOT sealed beam headlights and allow for you to change the bulb if needed. These have the Euro spec light pattern with sharp cutoff. Also these lights allow you to use Euro spec city light feature if needed (includes the small bulbs and bulb holders). These are brand new good quality aftermarket parts. All of the bulbs are genuine premium quality Hella items. Mounting: These are secured to the standard US headlight bucket using the securing ring and 3 small screws as originally- very easy to replace. The US spec sealed beam plug does not need to be changed as it fits these lights- plug and play. Additionally you can choose to use the Euro city lights (included)- small wiring and headlight bucket modification (slight trimming of the bucket rear side with an Dremel tool) is needed to do this. If you do not want to use the city lights- you can just take out the city light bulb holder and close the tiny opening with transparent tape. Fits: T1 bus (1950-1967) US spec cars with 12 Volt system only. Will NOT fit Euro headlights.
