Backup camera install wiring harness for TV module installation for E38 / E39 / E46 / E53 cars. This harness is needed when installing the backup camera but it is not the only thing you will need. This is only for cars with factory Navigation screens. Your car will need to be equipped with BMW TV video module. If it is not factory equipped you will need to retrofit a BMW Television module – using this retrofit harness.

For automatic activation of the camera you will also need to install a reverse camera switching module that connects to the reverse lights white/yellow wire.You will also need a NTSC reverse camera mounted in any location desired (most likely you can use E60 trunk opening handle mounted camera that are readily available).

This is a brand new original BMW part.

Mounting: This is a custom install part. Make sure you have the needed skills to do this.

Fits: Any BMW E38 / E39 / E46 / E53 with a Navigation screen. Not for cars without navigation.
