This kit includes everything you need to convert your USA spec E21 to Euro Motorsport spec in one easy go. You will now be able to enjoy the smooth Euro body lines without the disturbing big diving board bumpers and also the Euro lighting performance- you will be able see the road compared to the sealed beam headlights that needed the big bumpers just in case. The bumpers in this kit are not chromed. They can be either kept in the factory textured finish or painted cars body color. Using this conversion kit will also reduce weight by a huge amount as the new bumpers weight approx 10 times less than the stock ones. Less weight = more performance. The kit includes: Front Motorsport and rear Euro look bumpers with built in internal mounting points (adjustable metal corner brackets and special metal threads for the bumper to body brackets in the centers) Special rear Euro conversion lower valance that hides the USA bodyshells shorter tail panel and ugly holes left from diving board bumper shock absorbers under the rear bumper. This also creates the Euro spec rear license plate location under the bumper. Special bolt on rear bumper adaptor brackets for smooth and easy bolt on install of the Euro bumper. Euro spec headlight inserts (made in Europe) that you will be able to install directly in place of the sealed beam headlights. Plus OEM Hella bulbs. These are also plug and play (no modifications needed) with the current USA spec headlight electrical connectors. These will positively shock you in the lighting quality and output. Euro spec turn indicator lens in amber color. These are slimmer than the bulky USA spec units. Euro spec rear license plate light pair with bulbs (made by OEM manufacturer Hella). The bumpers and rear valance and boot spoiler are made from Pflex (mix of multiple composite materials including carbon; kevlar and elastic resin). As these are replacement parts professional paint prep and install (some sanding, priming, filling) is always needed. Mounting on USA spec car: You first need to remove both of the diving board bumpers and their shocks and trim from the car. You must also remove the front metal valance. You then need to mount the rear lower valance to the car using the included self tapping screws or Poly Urethane glue on the special built in flanges that match your USA spec cars body shape. The front bumper replaces the metal valance and the corners get bolted to the front fenders using the built in adjustable brackets. Rear bumper- use the included bumper adaptor brackets to mount the Euro bumper to the car with the included hardware. The rear bumpers corners need to have 2 small (8 mm) holes drilled in the body as they are not pre drilled like on Euro cars. The headlight inserts are super easy to replace- simply undo the 3 small screws on each chrome retaining ring and replace the old sealed beams with these inserts.
