Heavy Duty upgraded shifter rod joint repair kit for VW car with the flat air cooled engine like Type 1 Beetle / T1 / T2 / Type 3 / Type 181 / Karmann Ghia. Great to replace if your old shifters bushings are gone and there are shifting issues. This replaces VW OEM number 311798211. It did help with poor shifting in to second gear when I swapped mine VW Bug one for this. This is a brand new aftermarket part. Mounting: The same as original.
